Hello,
my name is Megan Morrison I am a double major, biology and chemistry with a focus on pre-Veterinary studies at Eureka College. Animals have always had a way into my heart. I have been working at a life-saving humane society called NAWS since I was fifteen years old, I'm a horseback rider, and I'm in love with the idea of wildlife conservation. Helping these wonderful creatures is something that I have always been passionate about and have always felt called to do. I have an amazing opportunity to study abroad in South Africa at North West University. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and will grant me with the a lot of exciting, and educational hands on experience. As a student there I would be able to go on many expeditions, and work hand in hand with researchers, rangers, and veterinarians. I will learn a lot about wildlife conservation, wildlife veterinary science, wildlife diseases and medicine, in-field pathology, capture and care of wild animals, wildlife rehabilitation, ecosystems and biodiversity conservation. Doing this will not only be a very unique educational experience, but it will also grant me more credit hours, and put me a step ahead of some other pre-vet students. With all of this in mind I hope all of you would be so kind to help this lifelong dream of mine become a reality. Please help send me to Africa. Thank you so much for your time.
Much appreciation & love,
Megan Morrison
