Send Kevin to his First International Competition

Donation protected
Kevin is an Olympic weightlifter and has proven to be a dedicated athlete, in addition to being quite a tough competitor. Recently, Kevin competed at his second Senior Nationals and earned his spot on the podium, with the help of his coach, Chris Lofland. Successfully lifting 187 kg/411 lbs in the clean and jerk, Kevin won gold and completed the meet with a 333 kg total. With this total, Kevin qualified for his first international competition, the Mediterranean Cup in San Marino, Europe on October 3-5, 2019.

In addition to Kevin being an athlete, he is a full-time mechanical engineering student at Texas Christian University, a United States Marine Corps veteran, a dog-dad, and above all — a go-getter that sets the bar high for himself and relentlessly does whatever it takes to succeed. From training and nutrition to recovery and sleep and everything in between, Kevin is 100% devoted to his sport while still maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

Upon expressing interest in the Mediterranean Cup, Kevin was selected to compete as a 109 kg lifter alongside 6 other athletes. The Mediterranean Cup is a self-funded competition and has been approved by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) as an Olympic Qualification Event in the Silver Category.

With your generous help, Kevin will represent the USA to compete with some of the most competitive athletes in the world.

On behalf of Kevin, thank you for your support.
