Hi everyone!
I'm very excited to be attending Harvest School of Missions. This is a school that will train and equip me to share the love and joy of knowing Jesus Christ. The school is in Pemba, Mozambique and I'll be there from June 1st to August 1st. After the school session is over, I will fly straight from Pemba to Nepal for a 17 day mission trip as an extension of the school. I've been praying and asking God to open this door and allow me to go to this school for almost a year since hearing about it, and I feel beyond thankful that He is sending me there.
I graduate from the University of Texas at Austin this upcoming May, and I keep asking the Lord for my next steps after going to Harvest School. I feel peace that He'll lead me in each next step as it comes. I hope that Harvest School will provide direction for me to know if the mission field is where the Lord is calling me full time. I trust in the Lord's faithfulness to direct me as He always has!
The reason I want to go to Harvest School is because I want to be equipped and I want to learn how to live my life on mission. It's important to me to have this time and experience to grow in the Lord. Aside from my heart longing to go to the school and learn from the teachers there, I believe that Jesus has put this on my heart and opened all the doors for me to go.
I really need all of your help in raising funds to go to Harvest School as well as the extended outreach to Nepal. I have estimated that I'll need to raise close to $10,000 (including the estimated flight costs). This seems impossible to me, but I know that God can do amazing things! I have to trust Him, and I have no reason not to. He's opened every other door already. I hope that you would prayerfully consider giving to my cause and helping me get to Pemba. I truly appreciate it form the bottom of my heart, and I truly believe that you're giving is impacting the course of my life from here on.
