GOFF MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE OLYMPIAD TEAM NEEDS YOUR HELP!
On April 14th, the Howard L. Goff Middle School Science Olympiad team placed second at the New York State Division B competition in Syracuse, New York. As a result, they have qualified to compete at the National Tournament in Colorado on May 18 and 19, 2018. Unfortunately, attending this competition comes with a sizeable price tag.
The total cost of the trip (airfare, lodging, and meals) for our team of student competitors will be upwards of $20,000. For many of the students on our team, these costs will place a significant financial burden on their parents who want nothing more than to help their child attend this once-in-a-lifetime event. As a part of our fundraising efforts to help offset these costs to our student competitors and their parents, we are humbly asking for donations through this GoFundMe campaign.
Over the next four weeks, we look to raise $6000 or more with your help. It is our hope that when this campaign's generous donations are combined with our other fundraising efforts that we will be able to send all of our student competitors to the National Tournament in Colorado.
