This is Dylan. He’s a full-time graphic design student and ardent intern at Expedition Press in Kingston, WA. He’s bright, talented, dedicated, and ridiculously excited about type.
Given his laser focus on typographic details, late nights with Lynda tutorials, and the near-alarming rate at which he consumes books about typography, Dylan appears destined to make a unique and indelible mark in the design world. What he really needs now is an opportunity to establish connections beyond the bounds of Kitsap County. And we have a plan.
We’re raising funds to send Dylan to the Typographics design festival in June at Cooper Union in New York City. Typographics is a multi-part event series focused on contemporary typography and is chock full of brilliant, cutting-edge folks in the industry. We believe that giving Dylan the chance to meet and learn from these influencers will skyrocket him toward the career of his dreams.
Our goal is to raise $2,500 to pay for Dylan’s airfare to NYC, lodging, food, books, and workshop fees. Can you pitch in a few dollars to help send this amazing young man off to meet his future?
