Send Debbie to the Big Apple!

For 10 years our beloved Office Coordinator, Debbie Hicks, has been lovingly and tirelessly tending to our needs as a school community.  

She has been the nurse for our children; bandaging their boo boos and administering ice packs for playground mishaps. She has been the sitter for fidgety souls needing quiet or waiting for parents.  Debbie has been the assistant for every teacher.  She has patiently guided many a parent through a form, a bill, a procedure.  Or simply listened attentively to a heartfelt concern.  "Where is Debbie?!",  is what we hear if she is even a foot away from her desk; there is slight panic!

Debbie has been the hub in the wheel of our school for 10 years, however Debbie has never been to New York!  And now that she's retiring, it's time for her to finally get to the Big Apple.  

We would love to send Debbie and Mike, her husband of 40 some years, to NYC for a 3 day trip!

We are looking for enough donations to cover (2) roundtrip plane tickets, (3) nights in a hotel in Times Square and 2 tickets to a Broadway show.  (And maybe a little extra for spending.)

She will be retiring on December 31, 2018, so we would like to collect as much as we can by that time.

Debbie has touched SO many lives, and as a Waldorf Community, we can give her a nice send her off into the retirement she so richly deserves.
