Send D. Colin to WOWPs 2017

Anyone who knows me knows that poetry is one of my biggest passions in life and the more time goes by the more I do to pursue that passion.  A couple of weeks ago I won the Nitty Gritty Slam Qualifier for the Women of the World Poetry Slam for the second time!! I'm both honored and humbled to rep the Capital District again. It's also an amazing experience to be among women from all over the country and beyond to share my poems on stage.  

Last year, it was held in Brooklyn. This year, it's being held in Dallas. I thought I could come up with all the funds on my own but it turns out I need a little help and I'm running out of time.  It takes place next week!! My sense of urgency is at peak level and I'm hoping I don't miss out.  One thing I have learned is that it is tough to ask for help sometimes but when you really want something, asking can make all the difference.The funds will help with my lodging and transportation. Will you help me out?
