Send Anice to China Team USA 2017

Six years ago I became a part of something that has become a passion of mine. I started learning how to play roller derby at the local rink in Hoquiam WA. As time went by I decided I needed to get more training from one of the best teams around. The Oly Rollers in Olympia. Over these last 6 years I have put in countless hours into becoming a better, faster and stronger skater. April of 2016 I was chosen to be a part of the Women's Team USA Roller Derby Team. Many women tried out and only the top 20 skaters would be picked to skate in China. After multiple camps and many months (felt like years) later April 10th of 2017 I was selected to represent the United States at the 2017 World Roller Games in  Nanjing, China this coming summer of 2017. I have worked really hard both mentally and physically to get to where I am at today and of course I could not have done this without the love and support of my friends, family and team mates. Now the not so fun part. The expenses that come with this amazing opportunity that has been given to me. I would be lying if I said I was not stressed about how I was going to afford this trip. If you know me you know that asking for any kind of help is hard for me. I would love to give back to each person who donates by taking their portrait <3 If you don't like having your picture taken then maybe I can take one of someone you love or your favorite pet! I will be setting up dates and locations for these images to be taken later on in the year. Thank you for reading this and I can't wait to tell you all about my trip when I return!
