See The World Education, Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization to help people with disabilities expand their opportunities in the areas of the arts, recreation, and travel.
The founder of See The World Education, Jessica Alessio, M.Ed. COMS, CVRT has been a large part of the field of education for many years, working with people of a wide range of disabilities and income levels. She has always felt that people with disabilities were held back and limitations were placed on them in education where there can be so much more done. The mission of See The World Education is that all individuals with disabilities learn to advocate for themselves and be as independent as possible in the areas of the arts, recreation, and travel; leading the life that they want to live with out being held back by any limitations.
For people with disabilities, there is a limit to the level of education they are offered in specific fields of their interest in recreation, travel and the arts. A lot of recreational opportunities are not offered for people with disabilities on a regular basis limiting the involvment of many capable individuals to participate. This lack of opportunities for children and adults leaves individuals with no outlets to pursue the activities in which they are passionate about.
Lets expand opportunities for people of all abilities together!
*Due to a non-compete contract, Jessica Alessio will not be working with or fundraising for any individuals who are blind or visually impaired in the specific area of South Florida until November 1st, 2017. This does not limit her from working with or fundraising for people who are blind or visually impaired in other areas.
