Sed's legal fund

UPDATE: We still have a long way to go but SED IS HOME!!!! Thank you all for your help, it has meant more than can be expressed with words. Any funds collected after this will be dedicated to lawyer's fees. Thank you so much.
Sed is an amazing father who provid es lp 3 children and my friend Sarah’s best friend. He is being held in jail with $50,000 bail (they need $5k to get him out) for a crime he did NOT commit.
The charge is for someone who robbed a dollar general and took a beer, candy and a wallet. Sed does not even drink. Because he is a black man with dreads, the cops think he looks like the actual suspect.
The police department in Harnett, NC have a disgusting history of racism and corruption (a few links to article are at the end of this post, and these are just a small selection of many events and articles about their corrupt police force).
Sed is the sole income provider for his family of five, him, his fiancée, her kid, and her sisters kids. His fiancée stays home taking care of the kids and Sed details cars for $7.25 an hour. They obviously don’t have any savings, and Sed being in jail means that he is not bringing in any income.
They are in danger of losing the house where the family lives, if Sed is not able to get out As Soon as Possible and go back to work.
Any amount that people can pay helps! We need to make sure this family can keep a roof over their heads. They are caring, kind people who do not deserve to be in this mess. They do not deserve for their entire lives to fall apart because of the racist and violently dehumanizing behavior of the police.
(Friends of mine and Sarah’s can contact us to send money directly if you prefer).
