The Salgado family needs your prayers and support!! The Salgado family’s life changed forever on Sunday evening, July 7 when the family was struck by a vehicle from behind on a freeway in Ensenada making their way back home. The impact was so severe that all of 
Maria Salgado’s children were ejected from the vehicle.
Their eldest daughter (my niece) Valeria, died at the scene. She was only 23 and just a month shy of her 24th birthday. She was a loving daughter and a protective big sister to her two younger brothers. She was full of life and lit up any room with her warm presence, beautiful smile, and kind heart. She reveled in being with her family and was excited about being in love for the first time.
The second eldest, Sebastian is 14 years old and is a 10th grader at Southwest High school.  His circumstances were extremely difficult as he was being treated in Mexico and the doctors there urged the family to stabilize him before trying to get him back to the US as it was risky to move him due to his condition. His family fought hard to get him here and he is now in San Diego being treated. He is in critical condition and we need everyone’s prayers! The family has already endured the loss of their only daughter and are fighting to save Sebastian! He is a loving good student and son and we want to see him playing soccer again and being a kid! Please help us to bring some comfort his family. They have a long road ahead.  We are asking you to help the Salgado  family. May God bless you for your generosity .
