Sean Smith and Family

Donation protected
It is with a very heavy heart; we write this about our wonderful neighbor Sean and his family.

Sean Smith is a devoted husband and loving father.  Sean was rushed to the ER on April 18th, 2019 and sustained a severe brain aneurysm.  Sean is in the NCC (ICU for neurological patients) and is battling for his life.  Sean’s road to recovery will be a long one and is very touch and go.

Sean is the only working source of income for his family.  These past several years have brought many challenges to Sean and his family.  Those who have met the Smith family would never know they have had so many challenges to endure if it wasn’t told to them.   Sean and his wife Crystal are parents to a beautiful boy, Austin.  Austin has had his own struggles and was diagnosed with a rare interstitial lung disease.  Austin spends most of his time on oxygen, attends many doctor appointments/hospital trips and is unable to run around freely as boys his age would like to do.

Crystal has been unable to work as she has been diagnosed with Lupus.  Crystal has been on disability for several years due to her own medical struggles.  Recently Sean and Crystal found out that Crystal’s disability was cancelled without notice.  This has been a financial hardship for the Smith family and led them to retain an attorney to help navigate the disability benefits.  With this news, Sean found himself being the only source of income for the family.

The financial hardships the Smith Family has endured has forced them to sell their home in 2019.  The Smith family has not moved out of their home; however, it is currently under contract to be sold.  Sean and Crystal were preparing to pack up the home when Sean tragically had his brain aneurysm.  It goes without saying, that this has brought on even more stress and hardship.

We are requesting funds as soon as possible to help with all aspects of Sean’s treatment and to help support Crystal and Austin.  This news has been devastating to the Smith family and everyone who knows them.  Any small donation would go a long way to help with Sean’s treatment and help his family along the way.  Thanks in advance for anything you are able to contribute. Please keep Sean and the entire Smith Family in your prayers.

Respectfully,
