MMA European Championships

Following recent try outs for the first all Welsh MMA team, I have finally been selected to represent Wales in the European IMMAF Championships held in Rome this June.
The highly prestigious International Mixed Martial Arts Federation, (IMMAF), hosts competitions each year where a select amount of athletes from each country have the opportunity to compete in a knock out tournament format held over 5 consecutive days, featuring the highest level in MMA action, with the goal of becoming champion. This competition will produce without doubt the best athletes from each country.
Creme de la creme, icing on the cake, Champions League, One for the grand kids, Master Chef (other analogies are available).....
Without stating the obvious, I am absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to represent my country in a sport that I have given a lot of blood to, a lot of sweat to and a few tears to. Truly a bucket list 'once in a lifetime' opportunity for myself, my family and my team, one that I simply cannot miss.
As many of you know, I have dedicated the majority of my life to martial arts, from starting in Japanese jiu jitsu from the age of 3, progressing into boxing, Kung fu, Karate, kickboxing and more prominently Mixed Martial Arts.
I have completed all over the UK in both MMA and submission grappling on some of the most prestigious shows against the highest domestic competition available. I have also trained all over the world in USA, Asia, Australia and Europe in some of the best (and worst) gyms available to me!
I have been coaching the youth MMA classes for a number of years in my local club, IPC Wrexham, as I am passionate about giving back to the club and passing on my knowledge/experience to the ninjas of the future!


I am looking for the support of local business's, sponsorship and donations to assist with covering the unavoidable associated costs for myself and my team mates, such as travel costs, accommodation, registration, training equipment, supplements etc.
As the Welsh MMA squad is not yet funded by a governing body and has limited sponsorship money in the pot, I would like to assist with relieving the pressure of the very limited funding and attempting to self fund as much as possible for my teammates and I.
We truly appreciate any and all donations to this cause, I understand the financial strains of running a house with kids, so any donation made would make a huge difference.
If any local companies would like to make a considerable donation to our team, please contact me and I will promote your company on my next few domestic fights with your logos on my fight shorts and T-Shirt in addition to regular social media promotions, again this is on the best shows in the UK with high levels of exposure.
