Podcast/Recording Studio Build Out

Scratch DJ Academy in West LA was built to serve as a pilar of the Los Angeles DJ community and is excited to share this new chapter and expansion with you and all of its members.

As a school, one of our priorities has always been to stay on the cutting edge of technology and education. In that spirit, we are looking to expand our classroom and curriculum to be able to build in a recording studio, radio and podcast studio, and live stream multi-purpose rooms! 

In addition to our DJ Certification Program, this will allow us to teach our students and the community about broadcast and recording techniques as well as be able to actually utilize the space to record and stream their live shows (both audio and video) directly from our facility. 

This is not ONLY for students but will also be available to the community of DJs, producers, content creators in the LA area.

We are looking to raise funds for building out the space including: 

- sound proofing rooms

- recording equipment

- broadcast equipment

We will need the funds by the end of April to begin offering these services by Q2 2018.

The 3 connected rooms will be used for: 
- Private Lesson Rooms
- Private Rehearsal Rooms equiped with the latest DJ rigs including CDJ2000Nexus2
- Radio and Podcast / Control Room
- Vocal Booths
- Live video recording and streaming capability for broadcasting podcasts, vlogs, radio shows, or live feeds on social media
