Be a Savior for Scott Xavier

On February 17th, 2020, my dad, Scott X Weaver, went to the hospital for a scheduled heart procedure. Before beginning, a routine blood test showed that he was extremely anemic. The doctors shared the bad and very unexpected news with my dad - he might have cancer.

He was admitted to the hospital immediately and after a bone marrow biopsy, more tests and several days of waiting, he was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer in plasma cells.  To treat this disease, he will begin chemotherapy on March 12th. After completing four months of chemo, he will then receive a bone marrow transplant.

For those of you that know my dad, you know he is an incredibly nice guy who loves talking with people, especially if its about music or the St. Louis Blues. He began driving full-time for Lyft a few years ago and loves it. The job fits his personality perfectly. He loves telling stories, learning about his passengers, and most of all, sharing his sense of humor. He can put a smile on anyone's face. As he begins his treatment, he will not be able to drive at the frequency he needs to pay his rent or buy food in addition to paying his medical expenses.

I am asking for any help that you can give my dad.  If you are unable to donate monetarily, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he battles this disease.  Any love and support you have to give is important and appreciated!

Thank you!!!
