Scott Allen's Battle with Cancer

Donation protected

On October 31st, 2018 our family found out what no family ever wants to hear regarding a loved one.

After calling 911 and getting an ambulance to take my brother's dad, Scott, to Conroe emergency room due to the horrible pain that he was having. We learned the unthinkable. Scott had cancer. Not just one or two but four different kinds; all stage four. Liver, lung, kidney, and pancreatic.

Scott and Sean discussed treatment with the doctor. With the cancer being untreated for so long there isn't much the doctors can do. They have given him morphine and a few other meds to help keep him comfortable.

Scott was at the hospital from the 31st until Nov. 14th. Conroe hospital made Scott find a hospice home. A lot of frantic research later my brother found one. After moving Scott, Sean went to visit and it was nothing like he had thought. He decided he would not let his father die there, so on Nov. 15th, he moved his dad to his own home in Walden.
For the next few weeks or months, my brother will be taking care of his dad. Unfortunately, we don't have the funds to pay for a 24-hour nurse to watch over Scott.

The past few days have been very hard on my brother and on Scott. The patches to help with pain weren't sent over to the 24-hour pharmacy like they should have been. And we are still struggling to get the medicine filled. The morphine and the muscle relaxers aren't helping very much either.

Backstory:
For the last almost two years my brother has been taking care of his dad. Scott has not been able to work since he broke his foot and it wouldn't heal fully. While Sean was at work he would watch my youngest nephew, Lincoln. Making him a huge part of my nephew's life.

Scott also has two other grandkids; oldest, Seth and middle Hailey. All of them have been greatly affected by what's going on.
Our hearts break for all of them.
Donations:
Our family is the last to ask for help, we are normally the ones going out of our way to help others. With that said we are asking for donations to go towards the current medical bills that are racking up and for preparations for the upcoming funeral costs.
None of us saw this coming so there isn't anything saved up to go towards this and with Scott not being able to work for the last few years he doesn't have any funds to go towards his expenses either. ANYTHING helps.
If PayPal is easier, I have linked my brothers account below!
Paypal Donations!

If you cannot, we understand. All we ask is you keep our hurting family in your thoughts and prayers during this dreadful time.

Thank you so so much for taking the time out of your day to read our story.

Much love,

Tiffany Crumpton.
