Science Communication in Africa

Donation protected
There are just 79 scientists per million Africans, compared to 4500 per million people in the United States.

This fundraiser aims to support a pioneering science outreach program to take fun and engaging science exhibits, shows and workshops to South Africa in a week-long Science Festival.

The goal is to target as many school learners as possible, and equip science teachers and communicators with the lasting benefits of skills development and resources, and very importantly: to spark an appreciation for science in the young minds of the future.

By collaborating with educational institutions, science centers and government departments, the benefits of this project will be far-reaching and long-lasting. Ultimately, we hope to make the event a recurring one across multiple locations to maximize it's impact in Africa.

If you care about Science, and want to help fight injustice and inequality with the power of education, then please support this campaign in any way that you can.

Thanks in advance!
