Whitburn Church of England Academy Minibus Appeal
At Whitburn Church of England Academy, we offer a wide range of extracurricular and enrichment activities to our 1200+ students. For a number of these activities, we are very heavily reliant on our two ageing minibuses, the oldest of which is now almost 17 years old and is increasingly unreliable.
We’ve set up this appeal with the aim of raising enough funding to replace one of our minibuses by the end of this academic year. A new minibus will help us continue to transport our students to take part in local, regional and national sporting events, to take our talented musicians to perform in concerts and many of our students to take part in a whole range of enrichment events.
To kick-start this campaign our Principal Mr Hardie will be taking part in the 2018 Great North Run, running 13.1 miles from Newcastle to South Shields.
With your help, we can raise enough to purchase a replacement minibus and allow our students to continue attending vital events and competitions. Every donation, no matter how small, will help us reach our target!
