SCHOOL LUNCH BALANCES OWED

I hear all the time about children who have balances in their lunch accounts at school. They are left with little or no lunch and it's not their fault! I am wanting to start a movement to get this kids balances paid! Eventually I'd like there to be free lunch for all school age children.  If they get free education why can't they eat for free too! Yes there are free lunch programs, and reduced lunch programs, but for the parents that barely make the mark it is still hard. I would like your help and support!! I strongly believe all people in this world are in need in some way but children hurt the worst. They cannot provide for themselves as an adult can and I think their voices should be heard. Lunch shaming is giving them a brown bag with a cheese sandwich and a milk and embarrassing them in front of the whole school or not eating at all in some cases and it's not ok either. These kids are supposed to grow up, go to college and pay taxes to this wonderful nation of ours and this kind of behavior is telling them America does not care about even children. I would like your support to help the kids who have owed balances so they never know what lunch shaming is and to show them love and kindness from Americans. This is a battle I will not give up on until every child in this great nation goes to school knowing they will eat that day and not just once but they can eat twice. Children should know nothing of this country but safety and security. They should be able to go to school and know they can learn well because they will eat well!!!!!

I'm going to take this money and use it with at need schools.  I'm going to speak to the Cafeteria manager once a month and see the kids with extremely negative balances and make sure they eat the next school day. My son has paid for his friends in the past and my mother paid off a kids balance once.  Its not ok and it needs to be dealt with.  We need to remember that some parents are poor, some are at need but some just don't care.  This will help children in a way that we all know all too well is the one thing we need for survival and a sharp mind...EATING!!!!!!!
