Any donations will help us give her proper and fitting burial and funeral and to start her charity.
She was loved by so many and spread her sunshine everywhere she went.
PLEASE HELP us of you can. Our mission is to create something extraordinary out of this tragedy. We want to start a charity in her name called "Scarlett's Sunshine" which will spread random acts of kindness to induce spontaneous smiles, like she gave us. She loved flowers so I plan on handing out as many flowers to strangers as humanly possible. I also want to hand out bouquets of flowers at the hospital for people who don't have visitors and at nursing homes.  She loved visiting nursing home. Some ways to spread sunshine where it is needed most. If you can donate monitarily that is awesome. If you have left over flowers you can donate or old glass jars, they are awesome too. I can come pick up.

Please help us share Scarlett's sunshine. Please share this go fund me with other. We are going to do great things in the name of Scarlett Middleton. We will continue to share her sunshine.

Please visit Scarlett's Sunshine on Facebook and Scarlettssunshinecharity on Instagram or scarlettssunshine.com

Watch how one sweet girl changes the world one smile at a time (with the help of others).

Funds will be withdrawn by the beneficiaries, Holly and Aaron Middleton in honor of Scarlett.  A portion of the fund will be used for her funeral and burial expenses and the majority will be deposited into a 501c fund in the name of her charity, Scarlett's Sunshine, to continue to spread her love and sunshine.

Thank you very much for the tremendous support you have given Scarlett's charity, Scarlett's Sunshine.

Today, I (Scarlett's mommy), went through the list of everyone who donated to Scarlett's Sunshine and prayed name by name that God would bless you and keep you close to him. If you have a specific prayer that I can pray for you, you can email your prayer request to ScarlettsSunshine@gmail.com. I will keep in confidential and in my heart. I am just in awe of all of the donations we have received. I want to let everyone know we only took $10,000 out the gofundme for her funeral and burial and will be using our OWN funds to pay the rest of those expenses including the headstone. All the rest GoFundMe donations goes into a Scarlett's Sunshine charity account, to be solely used to spread sunshine and love.

I spend approximately $90 a week on flowers (usually 250 roses, from a wholesaler). That equates to $4320 a year. To be able to do this for the next 50 years, I'd need to raise over $200,000. And even more, as I hope my children will take up this mission to spread Scarlett's Sunshine after I'm gone. EVERY PENNY COUNTS AND MEANS SO MUCH TO OUR FAMILY. A $10 donation equates to over 30 spontaneous smiles! I cannot thank you enough for supporting our cause to spread love and sunshine through random acts of kindness.
God bless you and please continue to pray for our family and for Scarlett's charity.

Everytime I leave the house I carry my bag of flowers to give out. I carry Scarlett with me and I see her light on the faces of the people who receive the flowers. Weekly and sometimes daily I get messages and emails from people who have received flowers letting me know how it made their day or meant so much to them during a time of need. It's made me realize how many people truly need some sunshine in their life. Thank you to everyone who donated money, time or vases to our Charity. We have funds to last us about 5 years giving out 200 flowers a week. I've found a wholesaler who can get me great rates on bulk flowers, but I want this to last more then 5 years. I'd like to continue this the rest of my life and ideally pass this mission of spreading sunshine to my children. If you could possibly donate more, we'd really appreciate it. Today marks the 2 month anniversary of her death.

Thank you and God bless you!

In Loving Memory of

Scarlett Elizabeth Middleton

June 26, 2013 - July 12, 2018

Our beloved Scarlett Elizabeth Middleton, of St. Petersburg, Florida (age five)entered the Kingdom of Heaven on July 12, 2018, suddenly and unexpectedly.

“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.”(Proverbs31:25).

Scarlett loved playing with her brothers and sister, dancing and ballet, swimming, flamingoes, jigsaw puzzles, and Disney Princesses, especially Ariel from the Little Mermaid. Her favorite thing was family snuggle time. She spread kindness everywhere by sharing her sunshine with everybody she met. It was often said that, “She would bring sunshine into any room.” She was truly a lovely child.

“It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine.” (Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh)

Our Sweetheart Sissy was selfless and giving even at her young age. When given
a treat, big or small, she would give to others first, even if only one was left. She rarely asked for anything. Her humble, content and selfless spirit showed a grace we all should hope to possess. It was so easy to want to spoil her with gifts and surprises because she was always so grateful and appreciative.

“A little consideration, a little thought for others makes all the difference.”
(Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh)

During our last weekend with her, we took her on a special Big Girls’ Weekend,
just Holly, Gummi, and Scarlett, celebrating her fifth birthday in Orlando, where we created a lifetime of memories in one weekend. Her Mommy and Grandma
Trott (Gummi) bought her a new American Doll girl and gave her a magical
Princess Ariel makeover at Disney. Her smile did not leave her face all weekend.
We know that the weekend was a gift from God as a beautiful send-off from this
world to the next and practice as a princess for a day here, preparing for an
eternity as a Princess to the King in Heaven.

While the Middleton and Trott families are experiencing excruciating grief and anguish, they take solace in the fact that Scarlett is now experiencing joy that none of us here on Earth can even fathom. We also feel tremendous gratitude to God for blessing us with five years in the presence of his angel child Scarlett.

“Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18).

Her favorite song was “You are My Sunshine” which is fitting since she was
everyone else’s sunshine.

“You are My Sunshine”

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away

The other night dear, as I lay sleeping I dreamed I held you in my arms
When I awoke, dear, I was mistaken And I hung my head and cried

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
I love you more every day
