Payten's Journey to HOPE and LIFE

HELP our family save our daughters LIFE!

Payten is a very beautiful 12 year old girl. She is an old soul at heart, and has the heart for giving and helping others.  She would give her shirt off her back to help someone in need.  Payten has a smile that lights the room up and a personality that draws everyone to her. Many people have said,  "Payten has came into my life at just the right time."

Lets join together and come into Payten's life at just the right time.

Payten was diagnosed with Aspergers (high functioning Autism) as well as severe depression, anxiety, PTSD, and mood instability (common with young sexual assault victims.)
Payten was sexually molested at the tender age of 3 years old and continued until she was 5 years old. This was done by a trusted family member.  Payten held the pain inside until the summer before her 12th birthday.  During this time we found out that she was suicidal and had been cutting for a several months along with burning herself. Payten was also planning a suicide by the time she was 15 years old. Payten was treated in a residential program here in Hawaii where we live. The facility did not have the proper trauma treatment Payten needed. After her release our family continued with therapy and seeing a psychiatrist. Payten also had to be homeschooled due to the rumors and bullying being done at her current school.
We thought things were looking better as her attitude began to change for the better.

The night of Easter we received a phone call from an angel letting us know she posted a social media note stating she was suicidal again.

I never thought I would have to ask her the dreadful question... " Payten are you so happy because you are planning on killing yourself?"
Payten looked at me with a very checked out look in her eyes, a smile on her face, a small laugh in her calm voice and said, " yes, mom. I am so happy and at peace knowing I am going to die soon and my hell on earth will end soon. Eternal hell will be a happier place than what I live in my head everyday. There is nothing anyone can do to stop me.”

My husband and I knew at that very moment we had a very serious situation on our hands. Payten had her plan made up and the time frame was just days away.

My husband made the 911 call to get to her a medical facility to keep her safe. I cried and begged him not to do it, as I knew I only had a few more days with my baby girl and I wanted to hold her for the remaining time I had with her on earth.

Payten was transported to a medical facility where she is being held until she is able to be transferred from Hawaii to a sexual trauma treatment facility on the mainland of the United States.

We are in financial need in order t
o fly home to the mainland to be with family; in order for them to hel
p with child care. We have three other young children that are unable to go to the monthly family visits we must maintain in order for our insurance to cover the cost of the treatment center. We have to fly four people and a dog to the mainland and back to maintain this insurance criteria.  Payten has recently voiced she is ready to fight the demons in her head that were placed there as a very small child. She still currently has suicidal thoughts but is beginning to see reasons to live and have a will to live. Help us save our daughters life!We have also purchased a dog for Payten and are trying to raise money to help with the cost of getting her dog trained as a service dog. As well as, continue with horse therapy lessons upon her return to Hawaii and any other needs she may need.

My husband is enlisted in the Army and I am a stay at home mom. Financially, things are adding up very quickly.

We are leaving all of our decisions and plan making up to God's will as we believe he will provide as he deems fit.
God will provide as he always does.
God is seeing us faithfully through this dark time in our life and we lean on him everyday to gain our strength during our weakness.

God Bless you all who feel in your heart to help and pray for our family.

Please share with as many people as possible.

Help end the cycle of sexual abuse to children and be the voice they are afraid to have!
