My beautiful niece Mackenzie was recently diagnosed with advanced Crohns disease. She is 27 and has a great job as an account executive for a skincare company. Unfortunately, Kenzie does not have medical insurance and only gets paid if she is working.
On a recent trip to California she ended up in the Hospital for 5 days, where after many tests she was diagnosed with Crohns. This disease has no cure. This past week she was admitted again to the hospital with an intestinal blockage. After several days of medical procedures she had surgery to remove part of her intestine and colon.
At this point she is on the road to a slow recovery but will remain in the hospital in icmu. As you can imagine the medical bills are continuing to increase. I am asking for help in supporting Mackenzie as she fights this battle.
She is a strong woman and has a fantastic support system but your thoughts and prayers will definitely help her.
