Men With A Vision Color Guard Fund
Donation protected
Men with a Vision (MWAV) is an African American color guard team from Pittsburgh PA. These young peolple are fighting against the odds in low income neighborhoods to compete in a sport where locally there is little to no minority representation. Under the leadership of Henry Sowell they have been gaining a reputation as solid competitors to watch out for in national band and guard competitions. Like with any other endevour it costs to perform at that calibar.
MWAV needs your support to send these deserving young people to the TIA Championships in Wildwood New Jersey this April. Without proper uniforms, insurance, equipment, transporatation, and housing they will not be able to defend their title from previous years.
MWV has until April 25th, 2016 to raise $2,500.00 for the competition. These monies with secure there place at the competition and allow them to focus on being at there best.
Your financial support for MWAV will be greatly appreciated and will aid in keeping these young people off the street, focused, and confident that they too have a place in this sport and their communities.
Thank You!
