Saving My Future Retirement Home

Hello!
Many of you know me from years of my volunteering in the Italian American community,   the LGBT community and the poetry/creative community.

As some of you may know, I inherited a small house in my father's town in Italy which one day, I planned to retire to years from now. For years, I paid the taxes on the house by renting it out to vacationers. However my cousin, who once helped me out by making sure the house was ready for the renters,  has had a heart attack and no longer is able to help me.

Adding to the problem are extra personal and vet bills which I had to put on my credit card and a loss of monies on my  online store, due to someone using a stolen credit card.

The property taxes and the extra bills has forced me to take money out of my small retirement account. If this continues, I'll be out of savings in a few years. And  I'll have to sell it in orer to survive my retirement.

So I'm asking for $8,000 to help pay for my property taxes for next 2 years until I can apply for a Italian  citizenship which will reduce my taxes. 

I'd be very grateful for your help and if you  help, I will welcome you with open arms if you come to visit me  either when I retire to my house or if you show up when I'm on vacation there before retirement.

Just let me know! I have a extra bedroom. And  it would be great to hang out with you  as we eat great food and relax. 

The house is located in the town of Framura in the region of Liguria, 3 train stops from the famous CinqueTerre towns
