Save the Hostages of War

Donation protected
While Ukraine peace deal has been signed, the situation is still frightfully fragile. Civilians that have been trapped in the armed conflict in the Donbass region in Ukraine still desperately need help. They need food, water, medicine, clothes, shelter or financial support to leave the dangerous region. With aid from their friends and acquaintances from abroad, volunteers from Ukraine and Russia have been able to provide some towns and villages with minimal assistance and care. But volunteers' funds are bleeding white now.

According to the United Nations, more than 5,000 (including children) were killed and over one million Ukraininans have been displaced. Despite the scale of this conflict, no government or major charity organization stepped forward with humanitarian aid. Having been hiding from shelling in cellars with no water, no electivity, no heating in bitter subfreezing cold and subsisting on nearly nothing, Donbass people are left there to die. They have nobody but us.

Please help Donbass mothers to feed their babies and children! Please help Donbass daughters and sons to take care of their elderly parents! Please help to save those who still desperately need help. We cannot help the dead, both adults and children, but we can help the living!

This campaign is beyond taking sides in this conflict. Our goal is strictly humanitarian. The campaign has been started to raise money to help only civilians in the area of Ukraine ravaged by the war. The raised funds will go to volunteers who interact closely with those who need help in the region. Among them are Evgeny Kaplin and Victoria Ivleva , the volunteer group Otvetstvennye Grazhdane .

We are in touch with trustworthy volunteers who risk their lives by getting people out of the war area, by suppling families with young kids and the elderly with food and basics. Evgeny Kaplin was recognized by UNICEF Ukraine for his help  (by the way, UNICEF and similar organizations are present in Ukraine but their help is minimal and slow; besides, they do not engage in missions to evacuate civilians). Victoria Ivleva appeared on Dozhd, a Russian independent TV channel, to tell her story as a volunteer.  Dmitrii Shibalov from Otvetstvennye Grazhdane also gave an interview about the situation in the war zone.

We guarantee full transparency in distributing the funds. ALTERNATIVE DONATION means via PAYPAL [email redacted](dot)com (with a note "Ukraine Civil")

Please also consider helping Yura and Vanya who live and the war area in Ukraine and suffer from phenylketonuria!
