Help Save Exotic Animals in Ohio

My name is Daniel. I live in Ohio and Iam an avid aniimal lover and owner. Animals are my life! 9 years ago i became an exotic animal owner. I know theres alot of people that are against owning these animals because they dont know the truth or facts about owning these animals.  First off these animals never came from the wild. They have been born and raised in captivity for many years. They dont know what the wild is.  There for they can never be returned to the wild and are dependant on us humans to care for them. Im just a normal person same as you but with a deep passion for these magnificent creatures.  For 9 years now Ive given my life to the care of these animals. I carried a state license and was completely legal in providing the care and housing for my animals. Most of my animals came from horrible situations and most were going to be killed, hunted, or stuffed simply because their previous owners didnt want them anymore or had no need for them. I saved these animals and have given them the best home I can provide. Giving them nice enclosures, enrichment activities, nutrional foods daily, and most importantly human interaction in which they live for. You wont see any animals at a zoo that are as happy , loved, and content as mine. 

I now have to swallow my pride and ask for all the help i can get. I need help to once again save the animals ive already saved once. Ohio has passed a law Banning the ownership of exotic animals. Giving us standards higher than zoos are required to have. These standards are so out of reach and expensive a normal working class man like me cannot afford to comply with new state laws and now my babies face to be Euthanized. Theres no place for them to go and zoos dont want them. Unless I can comply my babies will be killed. Ive obtained an Attorney and plan to fight this all the way. I need your help with attorney funds, caging upgrades, and permit fees. Im begging you to look into your hearts and dig deep into your pockets and HELP ME SAVE MY BABIES!


The state of Ohio passed an Unconstitutional Law banning exotic animals. Animals that have lived here for decades in captivity.Some animals are pets, family members or rescued from a bad environment. Owners have dedicated their lives to care for these animals. Now  this new law enforces higher standards than zoos are required to have, owners can't afford to comply with these requirements. Animals will be confiscated then euthanized. Owners will face criminal charges. When all they did was love and care for these animals. It's not that these owners don't want to comply we financially can't. These are people who were legally licensed to posses these animals. Until the law changed. No one was Grandfathered in. We have obtained an attorney and continue to fight this law. We need everyone's help in saving the lives of these animals.
