The Cudahy Historical Society has been and continues to be supported by private donations.
In recent years it has become increasingly difficult to find donors and sustainable income.
Despite our best efforts our membership has declined and interest for the society is waning.
Immigrant Statue Park is also supported by the historical society.
Our yearly operational expenses come to about $15,000 to $20,000 per year.
We will fall very short of this in our current year and we project it to continue to decline.
Without the help of the public and the support of sustainable donations, the Cudahy Historical Society will be unable to fulfill its operational expense obligations in approximately 18 months and we will be forced to close the doors forever.
So, we need your help!
We sincerely appreciate donations of any size. And, just so you can rest easy knowing you've supported a great cause, 100% of the donation monies collected go into the Society. We are a 100% volunteer organization which means nobody gets paid.
