Save Minerva Garcia from Deportation

Donation protected
My friend Minerva Garcia needs help with legal and other expenses to #keepminervahome in Winston-Salem, NC with her 3 sons. She is a devoted mom who lived in Sanctuary at the Congregational United Church of Christ in NC with her 2 youngest sons for 98 days until a Federal judge vacated the order for her deportation in October of 2017. But even though Minerva has continued to be a productive member of the community, she is at risk of being taken away from her sons this Fall when she goes to Federal court.

Minerva came to the US seeking safety and special education for her oldest son who is blind as a result of complications from cancer. Minerva is the head of household for her 4 and 7 year old sons who are American citizens and her 22 year old son who has DACA.

Since 2013, ICE had granted a routine stay of removal each year for Minerva and had given her permission to live in the United States until May of 2017 when they ordered her to leave the country. Minerva initially had her deportation suspended when she was granted prosecutorial discretion by the government several years ago, along with thousands of other people who have no criminal record and were not a priority for deportation.

Please help by sharing this GoFundme with your friends and family,  donate if you can and sign Minerva's petition on change.org.  Thanks for making a difference!
