My brother-in-law Kinimo Ngoran was abruptly taken into custody on Wednesday January 23rd after spending years working with ICE/Immigration Service filing the necessary paperwork for legal residency.  He came to the US illegally more than 10 years ago when fleeing from being enslaved in the child militia in Ivory Coast in their ultra violent religious intolerance military.  He has been working and living in the open for the last 10 years trying to get legal status.  He has filed ICE's papers, paid ICE's money, had work approvals from them, and had approval to remain in the US while all the green card processes were processing.  On Wednesday they called him in to pay still another fee, and they arrested him without any warning and immediately sent him from his home with his new wife in Albany, New York to Buffalo and imprisoned him, waiting on deportation. 

We need your help.    We need your SIGNATURES on a petition, your VOICES on a calling campaign to the Regional ICE office in NY, and your SOCIAL MEDIA connections to retweet, re-share or post the links to the articles about him to raise awareness and champion for his case.  He has not broken any laws since he has been here.  He has worked honestly and faithfully with ICE and with lawyers to obtain proper status to atone for his method of entering the country.  ICE said he could continue to remain here while he was seeking the permanent status, and he was being monitored by them and was cooperative, remorseful, and honest in his actions over these years.  Nonetheless they abruptly took him into custody without any ability to prepare for it.
