Save Columbus Statue & Holiday

Christopher Columbus and our Italian Heritage has been under attack. We have been fighting to preserve the Columbus Statues and the Columbus Holiday.  I'm John Fratta, the Chairman of the New York State Commission for Social Justice. We are the anti-bigotry arm of the New York State Order Son's and Daughters of Italy in America. We have joined with a coalition of 53 Italian American Organizations to fight attempts to remove or place plaque on the Columbus statues in New York. This fight continues and now we need your help. We have already spent thousands of  dollars to preserve Columbus Day and our heritage. However, as this fight continues, we need more financial help.  Our next step will be a legal challenge against the City of New York. Please help us by donating money to the; Christopher Columbus Preservation Group, Inc. These funds will give us the ability to hire a legal team to fight any attempt to remove or place a plaque, with a distorted history of Columbus, on his statues. In addition, give us the ability to fight any and all attemps on the Columbus Day holiday. These funds would also help us hire a public relations firm to keep all informed on this issue.
