Save Tony's Sight

My son was recently diagnosed with Severe Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy.  Current treatments include: Laser Surgery, and now Eylea injections every 28 days which cost $2,000 per injection. It is not known as of yet how many injections will be required to repair and restore the vision. His insurance does not cover they Eylea injections, and the copays are beginning to take their toll due to the frequency of the office visits that are needed. So far, they have only begun to treat the left eye, and then will proceed to treat the right eye. As of yet we do not know, whether or not a "Vitrectomy" will need to be performed. He was a Bus driver for COTA: Project Mainstream, but has had to be out of work, and temporarily told not to drive at all, due to this condition, since May 16th 2018. We are asking for donations to assist in the costs of treatment and help with daily needs. Any little bit will help.
