We are desperately trying to keep this old funeral cart in the UK where it belongs and save a 200 year old piece of history that has so many stories to tell, also we would like to keep entry free to the public, the building does cost a lot to run and keep open but with your help, this would be possible.
We opened the Haunted Museum in June of this year, visiting the museum is 100% free of charge and we run on the kind donations of our visitors that help towards some of the electricity etc. all the staff are volunteers and do this because of passion as we believe that everyone should be able to visit without being charged an entry fee as some people cannot afford to visit places of interest and miss out on some amazing history
visitors come from all over the UK to visit the museum and see our wonderful and unusual unique items
We have over the months transformed this old cinema into an amazing place to visit for free including making the cinema back to how it used to be in the 1920's, so many hours and money have gone into making this possible the owners have put in their life savings into this project and there collection from over 20 years, we house some of the most haunted items from around the world,
we are currently in the process of purchasing a Victorian funeral cart and this is an amazing piece and has been in storage for over 40 years not so long ago the owners put down a £5000 deposit of there own savings with £2200 to pay, the seller is now putting pressure on for the remaining balance otherwise storage charges will be added until we either pay the remaining and collect before they resell in which we would lose our initial deposit,
with your help, we can show this amazing Victorian funeral cart to everyone that wants to visit the museum this is a great piece of history and adults as well as children will love getting up close for a very detailed look.
This magnificent piece of history will be housed within the haunted museum for all to see and look round, this would be an amazing addition to an already fantastic museum within Nottingham,
