Save the Dag!

Hi folks! That boy is Dag, and he was found by my husband at his workplace. As you can see, after wariness at first, he was super happy to receive a little love- but Dag is in sore need of help- he’s starving, and has an injured back leg that needs medical attention right away. We’re trying to contact local shelters, but sadly these places are always full since we live in an area where, unfortunately, pets are often considered disposable. 

We don’t know his story yet, but our immediate concernis getting him the help he needs- the rest can be sorted out as we go along, like getting him scanned for a microchip and maybe finding his owners.

I’ve set the goal at $2k simply because there is concern that his injured rear leg may need to come off, but we won’t know until he’s examined- and he’s clearly going to need some long term care. In the end, anything that can be donated is a benefit, and if we end up with more than what the actual costs are, the remainder will be donatedto our local non-profit shelter, because poor Dag here isn’t the only abandoned pet that needs help.
