Save "The BLUE BAIT BOAT"

Hello, all of my fellow fisherman/family, for those who don't know, my father in law Tony "Bones" Barfield passed away unexpectedly July 19th, 2019. He was well known for selling live bait from his "Blue Bait Boat" right outside the pass in Pensacola, Florida. After his passing my wife has been an emotional wreck. She was going back and forth with what to do with the boat. We have been receiving messages daily from friends/family about getting the boat back in the water. So here we are today.... How much would you love to turn to Channel 11 once again and hear “This Is The Blue Bait Boat, We are “Fish On” Come get your Bait”!!!! Unfortunately we will not hear those words coming from the Great Capt. Tony “Bones" Barfield!!!   I’m Bones son-in-law my wife is Marlaina Barfield-DeStefano. I'm an experienced long line and bandit fishermen part time and a Union Journeyman Carpenter. So you can imagine my surprise when Marlaina wakes me up in the middle of the night and tells me “We have to get The Boat back in the water “ She then goes on to tell me she is dreaming over and over about when she was young and Bones ( her father), his parents her PawPaw and MawMaw) was teaching her to throw that Mighty net. She said they are on The Blue Bait Boat and “Bones“ is telling her som eone has to be there to answer “Ch 11”. After much prayer and then a bunch more of prayer the answers were all the same  “Do-It”. I’m now learning all about bait fishing and my wife and I are with the help of a lot of you already will be back right outside the pass by the end of the year. I’m sure everyone will understand all about the name  Blue Bait Boat, it all began with the saying "Barfields Blue Eyes" and while Bones had a set of Blue eyes, we all miss, as soon as the boats lines up for there bait, my wife will probably make you stop and take a double look, because you will see those "Blue Eyes" again in his only Surving child “Marlaina”. Since that late night Wake up I have been nonstop tying to get all in order with the boat as she is dealing with the affairs of his unexpected passing. To be honest it is a lot harder than I thought, not physical but all the attorneys and people coming out of nowhere with hands wide open and not to help. After putting everything we have into some minor TLC and repairing a few things on the boat, paying overdue bills, ungodly licensing and permits, and of course Attorney fees we have hit a brick wall. All I knew was to start at the beginning  Pray, Pray and more Prayer. Yesterday while looking for a Friend of My father- in-laws, I reread several post on Facebook and it was as if God said look the answer is in front of your eyes. After some swallowing of the  Pride Pill I’ve humbled and I ask of those of you he felt more comfortable and love for (his Fellow Fishing Family) please Help Save “The Blue Bait Boat”. My family and I will be moving to Pensacola and I pray with your help will be anchored up and ready on “CH 11” I will keep everyone informed of all progress and keep a complete ledger of all donations and where they are used that will be available for audit to all who donate, not to mention the best cigar minows in the trap.   Thank you all and listen for us on CH11            God Bless,           “The Blue Live Bait Boat “
