Save the Bark
Donation protected
In an effort to combat the rising number of un-adopted and homeless dogs and animals, Mr. Carvalho's Junior(11th) Theology Class has decided to start a service project to raise awareness of homeless animals.
According to National Statistics
- There are about 70 million stray animals living in the U.S.
- That evens out to about five homeless animals for every homeless person in the U. S
- The two main reasons animals end up in shelters are because they’ve either been surrendered by their guardians or picked up off the street by animal control officers.
As a Junior Class we are acting to prevent this from happening to Man's Best Friend. Save the Bark, a campaign designed by students and instituted by students, we are looking to raise a minimum of $500 (Five Hundred Dollars) to buy food, supplies, and to donate to our local shelters to promote adoption efforts.
Please Support Help us in our efforts as a Junior Class and as a school community here at Catholic Central High School in Troy.
