No one expects the cruelest thing to happen to the kindest of hearts. Taco is an amazing little dog who has survived unimaginable situations. After losing her home she was left with a foster a family only to be adopted and dumped second time! When Taco came to Cait here she finally had a loving forever home and grow in to the amazing spirited dog she is today. Anyone who really knows Taco know that she has all the love in the world to give, despite her past circumstances.
When Cait was diagnosed with breast cancer Taco once more showed her true colors. She refused to leave Cait’s side. Spending every night with her watching over her being her moral support. After Cait’s surgery Taco spend every night curled up by her shoulder her only thought was to stay with Cait and help her to heal and best cancer. Taco showed Cait amazing amount of love and truly helped her in the healing process.
Just over one year ago Cait had what she thought was her last chemo treatment. But, this joyous news was quickly cut short by Taco’s own diagnoses. This devastating news was only amplified by the discovery of a second lump this week in Caits neck. Taco now needs to fight the same disease hand and hand with Cait. After Taco’s biopsy her vet believes if the tumor is not removed it will absolutely be fatal but with surgery her prognosis is great. After this long fight for her own life and now facing the reality of more medical bills, Cait’s funds are exhausted. She needs help to save the little dogs life that helped her fight so hard to save her own.
