Save Socorro Local Radio KYRN 102.1

Funds will benefit the effort to keep a live local  FM radio station serving Socorro New Mexico.  Rio Grande Valley Radio has been a proud member of the Socorro Chamber of Commerce for over 2 years serving the local community and remains committed to the community.   I began control and  operation of KYRN 102.1FM on June 20th 2017 as the fraudulent seller left the community of coverage without notifying the FCC or properly transferring control but entered in to a contract with my business to sell the station and took payments for the stations purchase.  He has falsified two different federal documents with penalties of 5 years in prison and/or fines and maliciously forced the station off-air harming the community at large.  Following the FCC direction to take him to local court to force him to transfer the license,  my company is awaiting a trial in December.  In the meantime, our sole form of business and serving the community of license has been destroyed.   I am asking your socorro to build an online radio station to continue serving our audience and to prepare to return to broadcasting immediately following the court's decision. Our supporters have the facts and records regarding our experience, history and integrity of our claims and work.  Thank each of you our supporters for donations.  I will be updating each of you and letting you know how the resources are utilized to serve local radio in Socorro.
