Save The Northern Cal Fire Puppies!

Family Dog Rescue saved a mama dog and her eight puppies from the Northern California fires in Clearlake.

These poor, helpless puppies arrived dehydrated, emaciated, and with dangerous parasites. Their bellies were distended from internal worms. 

Several puppies were near death and needed trips to the ER to receive care,  subcutaneous fluids, antibiotics, and dewormer. The smallest and sickest puppy passed away on Wednesday afternoon in the arms of a Family Dog Rescue Kennel Lead. We are devastated.  We will not give up on his brothers and sisters. 

The remaining puppies seem to be doing well and are under constant monitoring. They are so sweet and are slowly gaining their puppy energy back. Their mama, Ocean, is an incredible, amazing dog who has done her best to keep her babies safe despite the fires and being homeless.

Please, help us save the Northern California Fire Puppies. We take on the dogs that others would turn away. We take the high risk rescues and that is the Family Dog difference. We couldn't do it without your help!
