Save The Piggy!

Meet this CUTE little piglet!! He is sweet and happy but unfortunately was won at a county fair by a family who plans to fatten him up to have him slaughtered for meat. The owner has agreed to release him to our farm sanctuary if we can come up with enough money for him to accept in exchange for the pig. Normally rescues do not like purchasing animals due to supporting the industry by giving farmers income, but this is an unusual situation as the owner is not a farmer and will not be purchasing more pigs. He is a handsome Yorkshire Brown who will eventually be 500-700 pounds. We are asking for donations to offer the owner in exchange for his life and for his care, as he will need to be neutered, vetted and a suitable pig house with fencing built. Please help us save this little piglet and give him the freedom to live out his life in peace.
