SOS Save our Santa’s
Santa's Workshop is about to close. It is a voluntary not for profit organisation that has been in operation for the past 20 years and is made up of between 30 and 40 members. We make wooden toys and recycle and refurbish donated toys for under privileged children. Each year we distribute around 2500 presents all over W.A. The other side to the organisation is that because most of the volunteers are retirees the organisation gives them a purpose in life and a community to belong to and support each other. Our main funding comes from an organisation called Outcare who themselves have lost a lot of their funding this year and are therefore unable to support Santa's any longer. We have also been dealt a second blow in that we have been asked to vacate the school premises where we have been for the past 14 years. We are looking for someone to help us find new funding and someone to help us find new premises for our workshops.
