We have a dream...

This is the only home we hove found in almost 10 years of looking... Yep I look every day, never stopped!

It took 6 years to find a location we could have a cottage farm in our home town of Santa Barbara.

It took me 6 years to find a home we could 1. Afford and 2. Have a farm and Horses . We never cared where our little family farm was located, we only cared  that it was in our home town of santa barbara/goleta/montecito.

Our vision and hard work have cerated this program and we have been supported by our immediate family, the amazing families our program has touched, our friends and our community.

We still have hurdles to overcome... We believe in our ability to do this ..."nothing worth while was ever easy."
Only with a supportive community could we make it this far and that is why we need your help right now.  

We need help to keep our location for our rescue. After we experienced a very difficult year of setbacks like fire, and other crazy unpresidented disasters. We have worked tirelessly to support the needs of our comunity, animals and our enrichment program.

The Rancho Palomino Enrichment Program is how we bring in the financial support for our farm, group activities and our rescued animal care/feed/vetting.

Over the years we have opened our hearts to local animals in need of shelter.  We offered furry and featherd friends of our community, a safe and loving home. We hope you will help us continue on this path. 

Our unique program offers a variety of activities that are focused on cultural enrichment. We believe in the many natural benefits farms and animals provide. We also believe in hands on skill building for mental health.

Our activities build confidence, team work, focus, compassion and a feeling of conectedness. We encourage inclusivity, hard work, accountability, and focus. We offer exposure to hand building crafts, arts and custom trade skills.
Our program offers the community the natural health benefits farms and animals provide naturally.

We had a great summer but it was not big enough to save the down payment after we were also hit by the disasters last December. We were evacuated and closed with the animals for the Thomas Fire and we went through the flood with the community. it has been a year of resiliancy for Santa Barbara.
