Save one dog, help a Veteran
Hi! My name is Raeal and I am a Senior at Falmouth High School. For the past few months I have been volunteering with K9s on The Front Line for my senior project. They are a nonprofit organization that provides certified, trained service dogs to military Veterans who are affected by PTSD. Many of the dogs they train are rescues from high kill shelters. It costs approximately $3,500 to train a service dog for a Veteran. This is at no cost to the Veteran. As an incentive to donate, Principal Badalament (Falmouth High School Principal) has agreed to put on a bite suit and be attacked by a trained police dog at an assembly on May 29th. He will also wear a GoPro and upload the footage to Facebook. He will do this if $3,500 is raised. K9s on The Front Line is an amazing organization that helps the lives of many Veterans. I have had the privilege of being around these Veterans and seeing how their dogs have impacted their lives in just a few months. If every student at Falmouth High School donated $5 we could meet this goal. Every donation counts! Thank you so much!+ Read More
Thank you to everyone who has donated thus far! If you haven't donated yet please take a moment to look at my post. This past weekend I had the privilege of attending the graduation of several Veterans and got to see the results from all of their hard work. This is an amazing organization. Again, thank you very much for all of your support of this organization and its mission.
