Save Mitcham Rugby Club
Mitcham and Carshalton Rugby club has existed for over eighty years and has been a hub for the local community, running numerous youth teams and seniors alike. We are proud to have recent alumni including George Merrick of Harlequins and Megan Brown of Harlequins Ladies.
Despite its tremendous history, Mitcham now need the help of the local community. Mitcham have been the victim of half a dozen break-ins over the summer, which has caused large amount of damage to the roof. This in turn has caused significant internal problems, flooding and major damage to electrics.
We are desperately in need of funds to save the club but we can change things around. We have had planning approval for a brand new state of the art facility.
£2000 will repair the damage to the club and provide rent for the next few months.
£10,000 will provide enough money to provide long term repairs to the club and sort rent for the club for well over a year.
There's a lot of work to be done, but this club is back on it's feet and again and moving in the right direction and this is down entirely to you.
If you'd like to know where this money is going and how the club is getting on, you can subscribe to our new mailing list. The best way is to email email@example.com and ask to be added. Also we regularly update our facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
We are hosting every England Six Nations game at Poulter Park and we'd love to have each any every one of you down.
COME ON MITCHAM!
