Our fur children have been hit with terrible illnesses which has already taken the life of our beloved dog Kira (Kur-Ah) the Husky.
We are reaching out to the community because of the financial cost we have substained from Losing Kira 2 days before Maggie May (our Pitbull) develped a mysterious illness which is still undiagnosed. Kira’s “goodbye visit” and Maggie May’s 3 hospitalizations have left us Completely tapped out in all our winter savings and she is in dire need of medical attention and a 2nd opinion.
We are not sure what exactly lead to our sweet Maggie Mays illness. She was healthy as an ox running, swimming, playing and being the best big sister to her new sibling Logan (our 10 month old son.) Only 2 days after having to say Goodbye to my goofball Kira, Maggie was outside playing and running after her favorite tennis ball, then all of a sudden she went into a 5 minute seizure. We had her hospitalized and was told her kidneys were very large and her labs pointed towards Lyme. During her 2nd day of admission, Maggie began displaying some extremely worrisome Nero signs which lead to the Vets to believe this wasn’t Lyme....It was something only an MRI could tell. She was sent home on 7 medications and we were left with broken hearts and empty pockets and lots of unknown! (Claremont Animal Hospital: We thank you for everything you’ve tried for our Maggie)
Urging Fast forward to 2 hospitalizations later...We can only seem to keep her alive by IV Med insertions. I’ve applied to 2 credit cards and our CareCredit is tapped out on already. Our loved ones have paid what they could...We need to get Maggie that MRI and proper medical treatment before it’s too late!!
If you take a moment to think of that one pet that practically saved your life with love and loyalty. That IS Miss Maggie May. She has the sweetest soul and the most loving personality. I know life is tough and money isn’t something everyone can give up so we understand. This is our only option we have at making Maggie better. She doesn’t deserve this as her final moments. Please help a neighbor out and save our only fur baby left! ♥️
