Save Larry's Leg

Our sweet chiaweenie Larry was mauled by a neighborhood dangerous dog Thursday April 25th.

He was leashed that fateful afternoon to our porch while I went to grab the lawn mower to do some yard work out in the sun. Less than a minute later a bully breed dog grabbed him by the neck. Hearing his cries i ran to him as fast as possible. This white dog had his head in his mouth and was shaking vigorously. Terrified that my 9lb dog was surely dead I fought to get my puppy's head out of the dogs strong jaws. We both rushed to the hospital dripping with blood. Larry was limp and crying, the flesh from my finger ripped from the bone.

Thankfully Larry has survived but now we must make a terrible choice. Pay $5,500 and amputate the leg, leaving him without a good quality of  OR pay $8,552 to save his  leg. The vet is confident he will regain full mobility. 

Only fate can decide at this point. We must tell the surgeon our decision in the morning. SAVE LARRY'S LEG!!
