Save Ice, a man and a boys best friend

Hey everyone,
So my sister and I have started this GoFundMe to help a dear family friend who has been going through a very tough few days with his dog Ice. He is a single dad who like most, lives paycheck to paycheck and can't afford emergency vet bills of this magnitude. We've all been in his situation where an emergency comes up that costs a lot of money and we have to choose the cheapest option that isn't always the best. Please help our friend give his dog the best care possible so that he doesnt have to lose someone that is family and means the world to him and his little boy. So here is a little about ice and his family:

So I got ice November 24 2013 as a puppy I always wanted a husky ever since I lived in Alaska. He's been my shinning star when I went through my divorce and he's been there for my son kai. Kai and ice have an unbreakable bond like no other. Ice sleeps in his bed when I have him, they run around the house burning off energy. Ice was badly wounded to the point that he's been in the hospital since January 3. He needs more care and more medication. He has puncture wounds on his back legs at the joint and on his front left leg, on his shoulder there puncture wounds around his neck, one of his ears is badly torn and  he has broken teeth that need repairing. He is a massive part of my family.

Please help a family to keep their beloved dog who is an extremely important part of their family. Anything helps and everything is appreciated.
