Save Giving Hope Resource Center!

Giving Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping the homeless and needy to rebuild their lives with a hand-up. The location in South Venice provides laundry and showers for the working homeless as well as providing a central location for Venice Moms Helping Hands to use to provide clothing, groceries, home essentials and more to families in need. 


Because of the resource center, Venice Moms was able to hand out over 70 family meals for Christmas as well as provide 160 children with gifts for Christmas morning. In the fall, they were also able to provide school supplies for over 40 children. Without the help of Giving Hope, Venice Moms would not be able to operate and serve the community.

Due to the construction on US-41 Bypass, the thrift store in North Venice has seen a massive decline in sales, which trickles down to affect the Resource Center. 

Rent for the Resource Center is $4,200 a month, with utilities averaging about $1,000 a month.
