GHAZNI ATTACKS
The taliban is currently at it’s strongest since the terrorist attacks of September 11, after seizing Ghazni. An extremely important city, both culturally and strategically throughout history, Ghazni is home to approximately 150,000 Afghan civilians; civilians who are now living in constant fear and misery, since the 10th August 2018 when Taliban fighters launched an assault in the main city. Around 100 Afghan troops have been killed in fighting, houses have been burned, and dozens of innocent lives lost. “Hospitals are full of dead bodies and wounded. People are really scared, highways have been blocked since four days ago, communication lines are down” stated Kabul Based journalist Sultan Faizy.
Local hospitals can no longer provide sufficient medical supplies and the Afghan government cannot afford to pay for the crisis. So its up to you and I, its up to humanity, whether the first hand victims of this attack will survive or will have food on their table. So please donate! Whether its 1 dollar, 5 dollars, or more or less, every single cent counts.
Furthermore, all proceeds will go DIRECTLY to those in need, as there will be zero administrative costs, made possible by the generous help of local volunteers from the the Association of Australian Tertiary students from Afghanistan (AATSA) and The Afghan Students' Association (AfSAUQ).
