Eye of Horus Metaphysical, founded in 2003, needs to be out of its current location before July 31st. We only found out on July 1st that we had to move and so don't have all the funds we need.
We still need help. Although we are safe from the rocks, having raised the security deposit, our little ship is still facing the storm of moving and the costs involved.
The fact is, losing four days of income to actually move is destabalizing, just when we're going to have to pay for a lot of up front "housing" costs.
There are a number of expenses when opening a new location - phone lines, security system, signage, paint, truck rental and other expenses add up quickly to thousands of dollars. Since we didn't get to choose (and save for) our move, we are facing unexpected expenses. But we're not just asking for handouts.

About the New Location
We have a new place in mind, but we need to come up with first and last months rent and a security deposit. Upfront to secure the lease. We can't share where the location is until we've actually signed the lease, but it's nearby, we won't be going far, and as soon as we sign we'll be updating you all with the details.
Everyone at the Eye is extremely excited about the new proposed space; and at a 47% savings, we know we can sustain our mission to not only provide the best products, but also serve the community. We will lose the labyrinth and event space, but still have a classroom. It is smaller, so we think the cozy feeling of our original store will return in a new form. We'll still have classes, readings, meetups, psychic fairs, author events and more.

Our first store was too small, the next one was too big, and this one will be just right!
