Meet Della. 

Della is just 5 years old, with a beautiful life waiting for her! But she needs your help to live it.

She was picked up as a stray by Ukiah Animal Control and has been at the shelter for 5 months now. Della isn't managing shelter life well at all and is having a difficult time in her small kennel space. When she is out socializing, she is sweet and friendly and calm- but within the kennel walls is a different story. She is experiencing "kennel fatigue" and has badly injured her left leg by crashing about her confined space. So bad, in fact, that she now reqires surgery on her anterior cruciate liagiment.

She has captured the hearts of the staff and volunteers at the shelter who are doing everything they can to help her. They have even secured her a place with a wonderful resuce group who will stop at nothing to get her the loving forever home that she deserves... but she must first undergo surgery to repair her injured leg.
